Description:

Brown or greenish, easily mistaken for a Western Diamondback Rattlesnake.

Habitat:

Found this one at night under a small mesquite tree. Open scrub grassland habitat with cholla and prickly-pear cacti.

Notes:

Perhaps the most dangerous of North American rattlesnakes.
