Small wader bird usually found on the edge of a pond, lake, or river. The young look nothing like the adults. They are one of the smallest heron species.

Idk where you are talking about, but that's why you are driving haha. My place I told you about by all the train tracks near Pelican Island is where I saw mine. He was really shy though and didn't want his picture taken. So I need some better ones!
