Description:

Fleshy, off-white fungus about the size of a softball growing on the side of a tree.

Habitat:

Deciduous woods in the midlands of South Carolina.

Notes:

Photographed at the Stevens Creek Heritage Preserve near Clarks Hill (McCormick County), SC. Thanks to chesterpberry for the identification.
