Description:

Herbaceous plant with clusters of small, soft, light lavender-white flowers. It is native to Brazila nd other areas of tropical (South) America. It is a toxic medicinal plant.

Habitat:

Observed growing on a fallow garden in the equatorial tropics of northern New Guinea.
