Beldings have, 1. longer and thicker bill with curved culmen 2. darker and much thicker streaks on the underside 3. darker streaks on the upperside and coarser and darker markings on the face 4. the northern Savannah birds often look slightly crested and show a distinct peak on the rear crown,whereas beldings are mostly never crested,
