Marsh Brown Snake

Storeria dekayi limnetes

Description:

Small brown snake with twin rows of spots running down it's back. Known locally as the "ground rattler", and also commonly called the Decay snake due to being easy to find in dead piles of organic matter - and its a nice pun to the species :-)
