I though this might be a bronzed cowbird, tropical low jungle/coastal habitat... however stand corrected--it's a grackle

Bill is a strong indication that this bird is a Grackle. Look at the Bill VERY carefully on the cowbird. Also keep an eye on range maps to help you as well.
Oh! I see...just looked up both--it's the eyes!!!!! one has golden and the other is RED
