Schizophyllum commune Fr.

Description:

Several fan-shaped matte white fungi, the largest ~ 25 mm across. Fans/caps lobed/scalloped, very hairy, margins incurved. No stems/sessile. Gills light brown, split longitudinally.

Habitat:

Suburban neighborhood on insular tropical upland plateau.

Notes:

Spotted growing on roots of Acacia koa stump.
