Yellow-Crowned Night Heron

Description:

A lanky bird with a thin body and very large beak. I just started to shoot photos when I noticed the Crayfish in his mouth. They feed on fish and like you see here crawdads. They are shorebirds that is in the Egret and the Heron family. This one has a yellow crown and black and white facial markings while the rest is a grey-blue plumage and yellow legs.

Habitat:

Wetlands and lakes.
