Puerto Rican Garden Snake

Arrhyton exiguum

Very small snake species, around 8cm in length, maybe even 10cm. Has bright yellow color at the bottom of the body as well as some orange diamond patterns on the skin.

Found at the front garden of my house in Mayaguez moving around in the leaf litter and using a terra cotta tile as refuge.
