Yeah Patty those are two water drops but I put them there trying to get the gecko to lick so I could tell the color of its tongue (helps with the ID of this species).

I agree with Jen in that the series ir really amazing and beautiful. Were those two things on top of the head really two water drops that happened to be in the gecko's face? DId they come out like that naturally in the picture? Pretty amazing. Great series =)
