American Bullfrog Tadpole

Description:

Aquatic frog native to North America http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bullfrog

Habitat:

Likes larger, permanent bodies of water, swamps, ponds and lakes where it is usually found along the edge of the water. On rainy nights it travels over land.

Notes:

I spotted this bullfrog tadpole in my koi pond. He grew to be a very large frog over several years. He's the largest tadpole I've ever seen.
