Description:

Female on first four clics, male (with dark blue body and pale orange head), seen another day in pic N° 5.

Habitat:

Common african lizard, found in many habitats. Here, observed in urban setting in Abuja, the female on the promenade of Jabi lake, and the male in city park.

Notes:

Recently, there were some changes in classification inside the A. agama species, and a number of subspecies became species - the whole issue was/is rather confusing - I previously thought these, ound in Nigeria would belong to the A. africana species; but the range seems very off according to IUCN maps...
