Description:

Small, green caterpillar that stayed mostly in that curled position. If bothered while in this position, it twisted and rolled, usually right back to this position.

Neat find. This looks like a Green Cutworm caterpillar. As far as I know, Phlogophora meticulosa is not found in North America.
