Hi mebobbyboy, I believe you are correct. This is a Knight Anole (sorry Fyn, I don't agree that this is a Green Anole). You can tell from the yellow markings on the upper lip and the shoulder area.

They are an introduced species from Cuba originally and have established breeding pouplations in Florida. They are quite large and apparently aggressive (I've never met one) and will prey on many different creatures including smaller Anoles.
