Hi Shara, I have a similar spotting of an Anomala Scarab Beetle - http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/171....

The Cetonia aurata (Rose Chafer) has a distinct V shaped scutellum, the small triangular area between the wing cases just below the thorax - http://www.123rf.com/photo_14577105_gree....
