Lycopus australis
A tall plant just over a meter high with long serrated opposite leaves which were sessile. Small white flowers with long calyces were arranged in whorls. The petals had mauve spots on the lower lip.
Spotted along a walking track in moist boggy ground along Dandenong Creek- Mulgrave Wetlands.
An australian native belonging to the mint family.
