Sobralia rosea
A terrestrial orchid that has a reedlike stem that grows to 2-3 meters. The leaves are heavily veined and the blossoms, at least on this group, are white with a light magenta lip.
This orchid is found from sea level to 2,000 masl. This one was found on the mission station in the Amazon rainforest of SE Ecuador. It was there when we came 33 years ago and looks like it will still be there when we leave :-).
A hardy plant that seems to survive with or without care. The leaves on the Sobralia rosea page of Wiki, don't match the leaves of any other site's, including the wikidata site below: https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q15496781 http://sobralia.autrevie.com/Sobralia_ro...

Thanks Jopy. My knowledge of flowers is limited to sorting them by color, as in, "Oh look, a red flower." :-)
Sone Cuttleya sp. maybe?
