Dark Eyed Junco

Description:

Observed in a flock of about 100-150 birds. Not 100% positive on the I.D. - but I'm pretty confident.

Habitat:

Open Field with bare bushes and grass - bordering forest and pond near residential area.

Notes:

Observed between the hours of 1pm and 5pm. Overcast, temperture about 37 degrees farenheit with 25-30 mph winds.

they fill flock over-winter with there relatives the Slate-coloured Juncos and they are very similar looking.
