Marine iguana - Isabela sub-species (juvenile)

Amblyrhynchus cristatus albemarlensis

Description:

This small (about 6" long) juvenile was basking on the edge of the boardwalk but vanished over the edge when I approached. Luckily was curious & popped up his head to check me out.

Habitat:

Isabela, Galapagos

Notes:

When I downloaded the first photo I realized I had captured a self-portrait in the reflection in his eye!
