A medium to large (5 cm, 2 in) green mantis, going through its last molt. Apparently there is a great problem with its wings, that look crippled.

Notes:

Order Mantodea, family Photinaidae, subfamily Photinainae.

Seems like she would have died. Is she a Taumantis?

The poor girl will have had to live with her wings as they are in the photo. Hopefully, she was able to remove the skin from her abdomen. Still, ecdysis in the wild is a great spot!
