Description:

Photo take at -45 ft on a sandy bottom. Mutton snapper, especially adults, tend to be solitary, but can be seen in smaller schools. is medium size fiah around 45 cm long has a light pink color whit a black dot at the back, red anal fins.

Habitat:

Largely a Caribbean species, they can be found from North Carolina to South America. They prefer low-relief reef structure searching for fishes, shrimps, crabs, squid, and snails.
