Sphaerodactylus klauberi
Endemic to Puerto Rico. Its name is in honor of herpetologist Laurence Monroe Klauber. Upland Gecko is one of the larger sized Sphaerodactylus species.
It was in the mountains of Toro Negro. We started to move the leafs on the ground to see what we could find and it jumped out to us.
We are a group of friends that go camping a lot to take pictures of flora and fauna so expect to see the same spotting on my friends Noah profiles :)

NeilDazet, thanks for the link, but searching at PN sharks pictures I found the GPS location of each one. So, they are not protected, they are exposed to poachers and the preservacionists can't face them. What PN can do to change this?
Emanuel, poachers can use google, books...to search in a big area, but nowadays there are many smartphones and cameras that has the GPS function, even the underwater ones, so it's precise. The skill of hiding is very important for them to survive. Thanks for not given a precise position.
anyway it not the exact location because i dont know it. It was somewhere in the mountains and off trail.
Please see this Project Noah blog post regarding spotting locations: http://blog.projectnoah.org/post/3056774...
Imagine Noah did not exist..and i wanna start poaching.. google: where can i find a (set animal)...next buy a gun and a plane ticket...ppl dont need noah for poaching. i get what you gustavo is trying to do but still is kinda useless and annoying. i find my spotting using books, asking and google. the same anyone can.
Why does anybody put it's own adress in the internet?
A: It's dangerous!!! Nobody knows who is watching!
Why does we put GPS position of every creature we find?
We don't care about their safety.
Beautiful photos makes us happy!
GPS position makes poachers happy!
Please, change GPS position a bit and do what PN should do!!!
