Red-breasted Nuthatch

Sitta canadensis

Description:

This is the first year, of the 3 I have been birding, that this little gem came to our backyard, she almost flew right into me and was not scared at all when I was refilling the feeders. I did stand there for a while with seed in my hand hoping she would land on me to no avail BUT I can stand right at the feeders and she goes back and forth between the tray and suet log and feeders, just a beautiful lil' thing.
