Sawfly

Tenthredo ornaticeps

Description:

It looks like a bee on what I think is yarrow. It caught my attention because it seemed to be a bee, but clearly was not. It does not have a fuzzy body. It's smooth looking, black and yellow legs, black and yellow body, and I don't see any long antennae.

Habitat:

Meadow with a lot of flowers, Col Bob, Quinault Washington

Notes:

After a long long long google search, I'm fairly certain it's a sawfly (Tenthredo ornaticeps).
