Description:

A juvenile Black-winged Stilt , wich was found exhausted, in a yard in central Volos. He was rescued, rehabiliated and released back in the wild, after a short stay at the local wildlife center.

Yes, it was a young bird, for some reason it ended up in the yard of a house in central city, it was handed to us, and after a couple of days it was released in to a closeby estuary, called Bourboulithres.
