Tricholoma sp.


A tough clump of small grey-brown fruiting bodies with caps about 30 mm wide. Cap margins were inrolled and had a powdery white coating. The stipe was of the same colour as the cap and was slightly laterally compressed, also with a white coating. Gills were close was a pale creamy white. The faint spore print could have been cream or white.


Growing on damp soil in grass and leaf litter - Nature Reserve


Could be T.terreum.
