A little field mouse I rescued from the mouth of a stray cat. Mid winter.
Woodland area, Dead leafs and shrubs.
I know its natural for cats to eat smaller mammals but I couldn't bare the sound it made in the cats mouth. I kept him warm until he was ready for release. He did fine.
