Dacrymyces stillatus

Description:

Small gelatinous fungi, 1 to 5 mm in diameter, cushion shaped. Resupinated, i.e. upside down. There are two forms, the main and the conidial or anamorph which is more reddish coloured. They practically have no stem, joining directly to the surface (sessile). The hymenium is submerged in the surface of the fruiting body.

Habitat:

On decaying wood. Spotted on a fallen pine twig. Sierra de Guadarrama
