Anna's Hummingbird

Calypte anna

Description:

These two were creating a major ruckus !

Habitat:

Sepulveda Dam Basin Area, a habitat that has now been completely destroyed ! Notes:

Notes:

This Picture was taken just a few days before the Sepulveda Dam Basin area was pulverized to the floor by bulldozers for some reason.....This action has destroyed a haven form numerous mammals, birds, reptiles and insects in this area and I, along with so many other Nature Lovers from the Los Angeles / San Fernando Valley, am outraged, shocked, appalled and saddened by this inhuman Act !

Beautiful! I love the color contrast against the leaves.
