New species of Velvet gecko

Oedura sp.

Description:

A newly discovered and as of yet undescribed gecko found in North West Queensland. A type of velvet gecko (Oedura) probably closely related to O. marmorata.

Habitat:

Inhabits crevices in rocks

Notes:

Very happy to find this new species. Found while doing gecko surveys near Mt. Isa. Beautiful colors with either completely spotted or few spots with bands across its body. The second individual we found.
