Thanks! I had always wanted to learn how to capture those insane stills I've seen of hummingbirds, so before leaving for my first trip ever to southeast AZ last august (2011) I studied up the art of high speed syncing and practiced it at a feeder station for a few hours. The next day the shots came nearly second nature and I've enjoyed the challenge ever since! Can't wait for my next venture into south America (Amazonia) around May to photograph tropical hummingbirds again.

You are quickly becoming the hummingbird guy. Every shot is fabulous.
Thank you Maria and Chathuranga. This was my first trip to work with highspeed flash sync photography. I am quite happy with a lot of the results.
