Buff-bellied Hummingbird

Amazilia yucatanensis

Description:

Hummingbird making a nest. I had to adjust this photo significantly in order to see the colors on the bird because of the light coming from behind it. Not the best photo I've ever taken, but it's the ONLY one I got of this bird!

Habitat:

low coastal tropical jungle--in an area of manicured trees

Cool, now I've gotten at least two my birds ID'd accurately before posting here. :)
