Ginglymostoma cirratum
Stands still for long periods on the sandy bottom in shallow water. Sleep stacked one on top of another to form piles reach up to 30 sharks. During the day resting on sandy bottoms or in caves sandy bottom, seeming to sleep, but instead are very active at night and quite voracious.
Seabed in coastal waters, warm from the surface to a depth of 60m.
