Striped lax beetle

Thelyphassa lineata

Description:

A small reddish NZ native beetle, found in my house. I released it back to the wild, after the pics :)

Notes:

The species is considered a blister beetle, but apart ot two tiny itchy spots in my hand (wich I' not sure they were caused by the insect), I had no other problem... http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/33305...

Dear @Luis I only found that it causes serious dermatological problems when I did the species identification, so I was very very lucky with that spotting...
