Description:

Mottled moth (brown and gray shades) with a forewing length ~16 mm

Habitat:

Larval hosts (oaks, poplars, cherry) in immediate center. Farm pond is ~ 300 yards away.

Hodges #6586; Attracted to porch light. First December addition on BugGuide.net for South Carolina.
