Ring-billed Gull

Larus delawarensis

Description:

Smaller gull with mostly white and grey wings. Pale pink legs and yellow eyes. Identified in mostly adults to the yellow bill with a black ring around it.

Habitat:

Coastline, dumps, parking lots and parks.

Notes:

Spotted in a parking lot with a few other species of gulls.

First-second winter bird. Note the dark coverts with strongly contrasting edges on the wings. The Black-tipped Bill, and the black wing tips.
