Cirsium eriophorum
Big thistle that exceeds easily the meter of height. Its leaves are lobed and with spines of ca. 15 mm of length. The chapters are large and spherical, of 5 cm of diameter, with flowers purple and bracts small, on top of the a web of white hairs that cover the chapter. It flowers in summer. It grows in margins of roads or paths.
