Fungus Gnat

Description:

A relatively large Fungus Gnat at 4 mm in length. Orange body and coxae with dark legs. Family Mycetophilidae. Typically, the flies of this family have very long coxae, making them easy to recognize.

Habitat:

Garden lights, semi-rural residential area, San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico, 2,200 meters.
