Spotted Puffer

Arothron maleagris

Description:

Dark black or brown body with all-over spots, about 13 inches long. Eats mainly coral which is unusual for a puffer species. The skin feels like velcro (so they say, I haven't touched one!)

Habitat:

coral reefs in the Indo-Pacific and Eastern Pacific

Notes:

Toxic in all parts!
