Thanks bayucca, actually mi first thought was T. agrippina but i saw a couple of pictures on the web and this one has a different patterns on the wings. But as you say is the only one i can think about.

And thanks for the info, i have read it was the largest in Costa Rica but not in the world, i'll update the description

Thysania agrippina in my eyes, I could not imagine another one. Actually it is the lepidoptera with the largest wingspan of the world (32 cm). The atlas moth has the largest wing area.
