Description:

Brown-redish and tuberculated achenes, about 4mm long with white hairs (more than 100) of about 9 mm long, these hairs are specialized structures for wind dispersal. It is a weed that was introduced from Europe.

Habitat:

it is associated to agriculture sites and gaps in forests as well as on roads and perturbated sites.
