Tiny black weevil, about 3mm long, with a snout

Habitat:

Mallow plant in my backyard

Notes:

This beetle is native to Africa, Europe, and Asia, but there are no known records of it in North America. Although this is unknown, this beetle could be invasive in Oregon.
