Freshwater crab's hole

Parathelphusa hydrodromus (Herbst)

Habitat:

I found this in the paddy fields of Vadakkenchery, Palakkad District, Kerala, India.

Notes:

The crab ran inside the hole and the usual trick of putting in a stick and pulling it out did not work. I shall add a photo later.

Actually I had thought of it before posting, but forgot while posting. Now I have done that. Thank you, Ava T-B for reminding.
