Ring - necked Pheasant (mixed flock)

Description:

Roosters are unmistakable, the head is green with bright red check patches, white neck ring, rust colored breast, rust colored back with tan feathers and gray rump. Hens are brown on the upper body shading to tan on the underbody. The back has feathers that have black margins, giving the back a mottled appearance.
