A Syrphid fly by a small lake along the Dempster highway.

Habitat:

Resting on water plants beside the lake. Treeless area.

Notes:

A knowledgeable fellow has said this fly is in genera Lejops or Parhelophilus. Don't know if it is possible to go any further.
