New Mexico Spadefoot

Spea sp.

Description:

After strong afternoon showers, I decided to set out after nightfall to explore the desert. I found this young spadefoot hopping around in a moist desert arroyo.

Habitat:

Desert shrubland.

Notes:

I am not certain if this is 'Spea multiplicata' or 'Spea bombifrons'. Could somebody please verify?
