Fungus

Description:

I know absolutely nothing about the fungi in my area ... time to learn! Help please! It's yellow; that's all I can tell you about its appearance. The green plants surrounding it appear to be oxalis - so that bit of yellow fungi is smaller than an average adult's hand, I would say.

Habitat:

Temperate Rainforest

Notes:

I took this picture on Pete's Creek Trail, in the Col Bob wilderness, Quinault Washington.
