Lawn type grasses do not normally survive the summer heat here This year it has grown in the autumn, no doubt due to exceptionally long and wet rainy season which still continues and tracks which have been dirt and weeds for years are covered in grass this winter.

Habitat:

Limestone outcrop in foothills of los Serranos mountains.
