Pseudoperga guerinii

Pseudoperga guerinii

Description:

About 20mm long; short segmented antennae; mostly caramel and brown colours with a small yellow back-pack; heavily veinated, tinted, clear wings; shiny nickel coloured eyes

Habitat:

Open park with mixed native and introduced species including huge eucalyptus and radiata pines.

Notes:

I'm not sure why this creature was seemingly wedged in a tear in the leaf. Or why it has blue eyes. http://www.pergidae.net/pa051.htm
